Our software and services have been trusted by customers of all sizes from small businesses to multinational organisations for more than 30 years. Our Marine Applications Platform features segregated front and back ends.
Our front end is hosted a leading cloud provider (Vercel) using Serverless technology taking advantage of sandboxing and isolation to ensure no two customers share the same virtual machine. The platform provides industry standard HTTPS / SSL protection and global resiliency to prevent downtime with automatic failovers to the nearest region. Denial of service and malicious attacks are blocked by scalable DDoS mitigation. Automated hourly backups are persisted for one month.
Our back end that hosts our models and performs our tidal calculations is hosted on our own National Oceanography Centre (NOC) server infrastructure on which software and data is retained for up to 30 versions of each file that exists for 90 days.
The only personal data stored on our servers relate to user names and email addresses for account access. We do not store payment card information or any other personal data.
To ensure the protection of data and reliability, our back end servers are protected by high-end firewall systems and scans are performed regularly to identify and remove any vulnerabilities and we are working towards Cyber Essentials accreditation.
