How do I order / purchase Poltips?

How to place an order for Poltips tidal prediction software

Please state the version, ports and number of years you require, together with your full contact details, and we will provide you with a quote. If you are unsure what ports or version you require please contacts us as we will be happy to advise you.

If you wish to proceed we ask you to send a purchase order so that we can invoice you. If you prefer we can send a link to pay by card.

We will send the software on a USB and if required make it available to download.

Poltips is our coastal tidal computation and visualisation software which can compute tidal predictions for over 700 standard and secondary ports around the UK. 

Poltips is available in 3 different versions (Standard, Cust/Publishers and UserData), the cost depends on whether or not you intend to publish the data or just use it as a planning tool.
Standard Version:
This can be bought with either a 3 or 5 year licence and contains around 700 ports around the UK. Users of the standard version are NOT licensed to publish the data in any form.
Cost 3 years: £208 + vat / 5 Years: £292 + vat
 
Custom/Publishers Version:
This is purchased on an individual port basis with either a 2 or 3 year license and is recommended for consultancy or engineering use as it has the highest level of accuracy available (the database for the major ports is derived from a full harmonic analysis of the UK National Tide Gauge Network of 43 tide gauges). Users are permitted to publish the tide tables for resale in any numbers of books and also may publish results up to one month in advance of the current date on the internet. This version also has more sophisticated tide table layout options. 
Prices start from £292 + vat for a 2 year licence
 
User-Data Version:
For users who have their own harmonic constants and just require an accurate prediction engine. This version is also included with our TASK Tidal Analysis Software which is also available from us.

Prices start from £208 + vat for a 3 year licence Standard Poltips.
